 As people are becoming more aware of the harmful effects of conventional synthetic pesticides we are beginning to see a shift to the use of products from natural resources which do not leave harmful residues.

Organix Limited, established in 1996, primarily markets products of plant and natural origin.  The products are biodegradable, environment friendly, ecologically safe, have low pre-harvest intervals and can be used on a wide range of crops without causing harm to beneficial organisms. The products are ideal for Integrated Crop Management (ICM) and resistance management strategy.

Our main area of operation is in Kenya with representation in the neighbouring countries. Kenya is primarily an agricultural economy with tea, coffee, floriculture and horticulture being one of the largest foreign exchange earners.. There is a growing market for alternatives to synthetic pesticides, primarily due to the zero maximum residue levels (MRLs) that have been implemented by the European Union, Organic farming, pest resistance, worker safety, environment pollution, etc.

In order to develop products for the Kenyan market, our company conducts efficacy and related experiments, where required, with research stations as per regulations of the Pest Control Products Board (PCPB), the Kenyan registration authority for pesticides. Trials are also conducted with a number of smallholders and private companies involved in horticulture, floriculture and plantation crops.
